Privacy Notice (KVKK)

In accordance with Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data and the related Communiqué, we explain below how personal data obtained through our website is processed.

The form does not request special categories of personal data (health, criminal convictions, religion, membership, etc.). We recommend that you DO NOT share details of your specific matter in your first message; such information should be transmitted through secure channels after an engagement has been established.

3. Method of collection

Your personal data is obtained solely when you complete and submit the contact form on our website, by means that are not wholly automated, and only to the extent that you choose to provide it. The site uses no analytics or advertising tools that track visitor behaviour.

4. Transfer of personal data

Your personal data is not shared with any third party other than those set out below. It is never transferred or sold for marketing purposes.

  • To competent public authorities: only where legally required and limited to the scope requested (Art. 8/2-a).
  • To our e-mail infrastructure provider: solely for the purpose of delivering your message to our office.

The servers of the e-mail infrastructure provider used to deliver contact form messages are located abroad (European Union). Your message is therefore transferred abroad for the purpose of delivery and limited to that purpose. This transfer is based on the explicit consent you give when submitting the form (Art. 9).

If you do not wish your data to be transferred abroad, please contact us directly on 0216 349 30 36 or in writing at our office address instead of using the contact form. In that case none of your data is transferred abroad.

5. Security of personal data

Technical and administrative measures are taken to ensure an appropriate level of security, to prevent unlawful processing of and access to your personal data, and to ensure its safekeeping.

  • The site and contact form operate over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS).
  • Form data is not stored on the website; it is delivered directly to the office mailbox.
  • Server credentials are stored with restricted permissions and never shared with unauthorised persons.
  • Rate limiting and filtering are applied against automated submissions and abuse.
  • The professional duty of confidentiality under Article 36 of the Turkish Attorneyship Law No. 1136 applies throughout.

6. Your rights as a data subject

Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698, you have the following rights by applying to the data controller:

  1. To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
  2. To request information if it has been processed,
  3. To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly,
  4. To know the third parties to whom the data is transferred, domestically or abroad,
  5. To request rectification if the data is incomplete or inaccurate,
  6. To request erasure or destruction under the conditions set out in the Law,
  7. To request that rectification, erasure and destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
  8. To object to a result adverse to you arising from analysis carried out exclusively by automated systems,
  9. To claim compensation for damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing.

You may submit requests under this notice, together with documents establishing your identity, through the channels below. Your application will be concluded within thirty days at the latest, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller.

If your application is rejected, if you find the response insufficient, or if no response is given within the statutory period, you may lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board within thirty days of learning of the response and, in any event, within sixty days of the date of application (Law No. 6698, Art. 14).
